Car Cabin Aditional Ventilation System Powered by Photovoltaic Panel
Zdvořilý, Vítek ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the Master thesis is to design and verify the function of the system for the ventilation of parked car in the summer season with the intention to cut down the temperature peak in the cabin of the vehicle. The design of the system consists of the suitable placement of the fans and corresponding inlets and outlets for the flowing of the ventilating air. The fans are powered by a photovoltaic panel. The functionality of the system is verified by the measuring of the temperature drop in the cabin of the car. The ambient conditions for the setting of the intensity of solar radiation and of the ambient temperature have been chosen from the real measurements from TUBO station which is meteorological station of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of BUT Brno.
Abrupt day-to-day drops in air temperature and their seasonal distribution
Čašek, Matěj ; Müller, Miloslav (advisor) ; Křížová, Milada (referee)
The submitted thesis is focused on abrupt day-to-day air temperature drops. The theoretical part describes the meteorological and physical-geographical factors which influence air temperature. Abrupt air temperature drops were ascertained by daily data of maximum, minimum and mean air temperature in order to detect their potentional varying seasonalities. In thesis were used data from Praha-Ruzyně station between 1st January and 31st December. The results indicate that the interdiurnal air temperature drops vary in each temperature characteristics. While daily maximum air temperatures exhibit the greatest rates of decrease in summer months (July - August), the greatest drops of daily minimum air temperatures occur exclusively in December and January. Significant abnormality was ascertained during abrupt cooling at the turn of the years 1978 and 1979, when abrupt temperature drop was detect in both maximum and minimum air temperature. The seasonality of interdiurnal mean air temperature drops exhibit changes of both daily maximum and minimum air temperature. In thesis is also discussed the unsuitability of specification of intrdiurnal air tepmerature changes based on daily mean air temperature. Key words: temperature drop, cold front, radiation cooling, interdiurnal change

Postprandial termophily in leopard gecko (\kur{Eublepharis macularius}).
MAREČKOVÁ, Iva
This thesis deals with the postprandial thermophilia by the species \kur{Eublepharis macularius}. Research took place in the laboratory conditions with artificially created temperature gradient. 11 individuals of different age, gender and weight were chosen for my experiment. Surveying were in progress 8 hours before and 16 hours after feeding of animals. The experiment was repeated 3 times as surveying and once as a blind test. Although the temperature preference during the individual surveyings was changing, the postprandial thermophilia was not proved by statistic assessment of the experiments for sp. Eublepharis macularius. The thesis contains a literary review about the studied species, summary of published results dealing with postprandial thermophilia observed at reptiles, methodology of the experiment, results and discussion.
